Today's photo challenge is the cutlery drawer.
I had decided to take a photo of a silver set of cutlery. This small set was in my mothers kitchen drawers for years. Used daily this set traveled with mom to Canada from Germany. The large soup spoon is mine, from my Oma, engraved with a JH, my initials. They are tarnished now, but, I can still see the little fingers of my brothers grasping the handles, eating at the kitchen table with their feet barely touching the floor.  |
