I have been journaling for many years and have filled a lot books of all shapes, sizes.
I even gave a talk about journaling to a Woman's group a few years ago.
I have used journaling for stress management, healing from grief or loss, it helps with my mental and emotional health. I write about my creative ideas, goals, plans, inspirations.
I write about my life and the people that surround me.
I started writing about my experiences as a young woman, mother, then a single mom raising The Pedde Fleet'. Yes, I had a diary as a young girl, which I tossed into the wood stove before moving up to Prince George!
When I am writing, I don't worry about grammar, punctuation, spelling or language. I try to write what is in my head and heart with out worrying that I will hurt anyones feelings.
You can add photos, scrapbooking stickers, greeting cards, post cards, newspaper/magazine clippings, (even fortune cookie quotes ). You can even doodle, draw, use different coloured ink. I have put in my movie/theatre tickets and brochures of other trips and events.

| Day # 214 "Journaling" |
So, now that my challenge is completed for today, its time for me to write.
When my father was a young man he wrote in a journal, and I know one of my brothers writes as well. How many people write in a journal?
See you tomorrow with Day # 215!
