Today's adventure we left Prince George, and we headed west on highway 16. We didn't go very far about 30 minute drive. Our destination was Gravel Pit lake, famous for gatherings, fires, quading and young people hanging out.
We walked around the lake which I think took us about an hour. Yes, of course there were tell tale signs of fires and other items that should of been taken back home for the trash bins. Other wise we did enjoy our walk, the scenery and the view of this tiny lake.

We did see a chipmunk, squirrel and signs that a moose was here.
I am glad we decided to check out this area. I think if you are travelling and you see such a spot, take the time to stop, stretch your legs. You could be surprised! I think I was!
Have a great evening.
See you tomorrow with Day # 211!
