In the small corners of our world, you can always find beauty.
I like water lilies. I remember mom and dad putting in the pond at their house in Greenwood, BC. The kids and I, plus mom and dad were up at Jewel Lake, and mom wanted water lilies for her pond. There was Julie, in the water…yes it was mucky…but, I did get mom her plants. For that moment, I felt like I was her hero.

I used a macro setting, was on my hands and knees, leaning over the pond, hoping I don't fall in to take pictures.
