Life's a Beach
My daughter Tracey and I had planned a beach vacation to Penticton many months ago.
When we arrived in Penticton and immediately headed to the beach first, checking into our room, later!
Cooling off in the water, the only words we could say was, "This is sooo nice"! It was the cool water, sunshine, sandy beach. The smell of copper tone sunscreen. The colourful umbrellas and beach chairs. The screams of delight and the laughter of children playing in the water. Sea gulls and ducks nearby searching for food.
Swimming in Skaha Lake for me is like coming home. As a child we lived 2 blocks from the lake, so we spent hours at this lake!

After dinner, we went for a walk down my old neighbourhood streets. If you were quiet, you could almost see a little Julie running down the street to Colleen's house!
