Happy Birthday to my home town of Prince George, BC! Prince George, was Incorporated on this date 100 yrs. ago. I was living here for quiet a few years when I first learned about our shared birthdays; and, now I feel that we were fated to be together…because, Prince George is my home town!
I came up here to attend the college,(1974) and I stayed after graduation, worked in my field, fell in love, married, all of my children were born here, buried my husband of 20 years, and finished raising the "Pedde Fleet", celebrating all the events with raising children, worked and traveled around the area showing off my hometown, and fell in love again, all here in Prince George. So, now to begin my photo challenge on "our" Birthdays …and yes you guess it, I will have a picture taken with the city in mind.
My first photo that I am posting is a picture taken of me. I believe as a photographer I need to introduce myself. What better than posting a picture of me. I am not that comfortable in front of the camera…and if I am wanting you, my peers, my family, friends to have me take pictures of you…I need to be able to have my picture taken as well. This is a huge challenge for me.
It was a great day to be out and about in this city, to scout out wonderful locations for this photo shoot as well as getting great ideas and locations for future adventures.
