These bright flowers are nearing their time as they linger in the vase.
I am not ready to put them out into the compost, not just yet. So, they sit outside in my backyard on a picnic table.
I still see their beauty, even though the petals are wilting and leaves are dry.
The flower heads are now bowing down with the slightest breeze. Their petals fluttering bidding a gentle farewell.

If you think that these photos are a bit blurred, fading…I did this on purpose. I wanted to set a mood, a feeling, like the rain we've had these few days.
