Jewel's Journal: Julie's 366 Day Photo Challenge, Mar.6/15-Mar6./16

Hello

I know it has been awhile since I have last posted anything in my blogg…not that my life had been dull or boring…I have been keeping busy with hanging out with my children, my grandchildren, my family, we have had our adventures … and…..I just had a hard time putting fingers to keyboard.

There was a lot of changes in the past couple of years since my fathers memorial…we have new family members. Andrew and Danielle are engaged, Aleah is Danielle's daughter, who is now my new granddaughter, and along with Ashton they have a little brother, James who was born in January.

I know that people will come and go in your life….and we all know sometimes you just have to let them go….some with best wishes, some with sadness, and some you turn your back and let them walk away. You make that choice in your heart…walk on egg shells, or?? But, some people you keep in your heart for always… That is how I view the loss of my dearest friend Toni….she passed away suddenly with a heart attack…and I know she would want me to carry on, have adventures, share my life, feel love, be loved.

And, this year we lost my father in law as well, and while I was digging out photographs of Grandpa Pedde…I remember our time with him. With my father's memories, and now my father in law passing. I am encouraged, motivated, inspired by their memories they leave behind.

This is one of the reasons why I am back writing my blogg and doing a photography challenge! I would like to improve my photography skills, you are always learning and growing with your art, your craft, your skills. Plus, I want to leave my legacy, my life, my thoughts, my view of the world through my eyes and share them with you…my children, my family, my loved ones!

My Photo Challenge

And with my birthday tomorrow, I thought this would be a good place to start.

I have been working on this idea for awhile, and now that I am done picking brains, writing down ideas and my photo challenge list, I am ready to start !!

Here is my challenge.

I am to take a picture every day for a year, from March 6, 2015 to March 6, 2016 !

After taking the picture, I need to post the picture. I was thinking of Face Book, but, then I remembered that I have my blogg, so what better place to post and write my experience about the shot, location, emotions, etc…and a place where you can respond, make comments, and encourage me along the way! After, I am hoping to compile the photographs into a coffee table book….So, with your love and lots of cheers here I go!!
