Day # 308



In yesterday's blog, I had posted our menu for tonight's dinner. Well, I must say, it was a delightful dinner party. 
We were greeted by mom with hugs, and a beautifully set table. As we began to unload our groceries and prepare for dinner, mom wanted to help. I don't blame her, it is her kitchen.  She then soon relaxed and watched us while we finished making the appy's tossing the salad and pouring glasses of wine.

Day # 308 "Apple turnover with Vanilla Ice Cream" 

While we sat around the dinning room table drinking tea and finishing the wine, we talked about recipes from our heritage and from our youth. From this conversation a hint of another dinner party. 

We left with full bellies and hugs all around.
