I have lived here on this street for about 26 years. On this street I have seen a lot of families move onto the street, the kids grow up, and then they move on.
I think it was a great place for my kids to grow up. They had friends on the street, friends near by, the schools were in walking distance so they should not of been late for classes.
While focusing the camera, I thought about the times I waited at the front door for the kids to come home from school. They played street hockey, baseball, hop scotch, learning how to ride a bike, tag, the kids taking turns to push Tracey's stroller up & down the street, and oh yes the water fights, even the grown ups got involved. (Kathy, Rick and myself)
Sliding down the drive way in the winter, trick or treating and I would play "Thriller and other Hallowe'en music!
In the evening sitting across the street on a neighbours front steps drinking peach coolers while the kids played hide n go seek.

| Day # 194 "View from the Front Door" |
I think about my childhood home and the neighbourhood I had lived, the friends, the fun, the trouble we got into and the great memories, now I realized I had given my children the same thing.
See you tomorrow with Day # 195!
