Our feet: we stand for hours, walk many miles, run marathons, jump for joy, dance to different tunes, swim across oceans. We stub our toes, paint the toes, step on toes, get cold feet, run off ones feet, tip toe, take a load off ones feet, get carried out feet first, some of us have 2 left feet, jump in with both feet, keep out from under mom/dads feet, itchy feet, patter of tiny feet, put ones feet up, think on your feet, walk off your feet, feet of clay, muddy feet, wet feet, land on both feet, dead on your feet, toe jam, stinky feet, sweet feet, ticklish feet,hobbit feet, oh yes though hairy feet. Feet wearing socks, stockings, boots, flip flops, pumps, shoes, runners, clown shoes, slippers, sandals, and kids wearing mom/dad's shoes.

When I was in elementary school, September was a time for new school clothes, shoes and socks. Even now as an adult, when September comes, I have a strong urge to go out and purchase some new socks.
